Introduction to Quilting

This will be 4 classes covering an introduction to quilting.  You will leave how to sew a 1/4" seam, the proper way to iron and press fabric, how to nest seams together, how to sandwich the layers of a quilted project and some binding tips.

The basic tools that are used in quilting will also be explained and demonstrated to you.  You will learn the importance of cutting straight so that you can sew straight.

We will complete a table runner and during the construction of this you will learn about fabric placement in a project and how this effects your finished item.

I will provide the batting needed for the project.  You are responsible for the purchase of the fabric and can be purchased from my store and I will give you 15% off the cost of the fabric.
